Hydraulic Specialist KT Hydraulics Gains ISO9001:2000 Accreditation ....7BACK

Specialist hydraulic system designer and manufacturer KT Hydraulics has recently achieved renewal of its accreditation to the latest ISO9001:2000 international standard. The standard, which was first introduced in 1997 focuses on quality management systems to demonstrate a company’s ability to consistently provide products & services that meets customer and applicable regulatory requirements and aims to enhance customer satisfaction.

KTH director Richard Ellis explains the importance of achieving the new standard. “Since we achieved ISO9001 in 1992 it has helped us to improve our efficiency and the services we provide, and has undoubtedly helped us gain business from new clients around the globe.

Following the audit by LRQA, we received our certificate of compliance at the end of October. The accreditation covers the design, development, manufacture, installation and commissioning of hydraulic systems and associated equipment including the operations of our specialist flushing and pressure testing division.”

In addition to achieving ISO9001:2000 status, KTH is also awaiting final testing to be completed on its KS range of actuators. The design package has already received approval and final product application testing will provide full Lloyds Register type approval for marine, offshore and top-side use.
