KT Hire Services is a newly formed division of KT Hydraulics. KT Hydraulics is one of the few companies that has achieved ISO 9001:2000 accreditation under the Lloyds Register for flushing and pressure testing of offshore, industrial and marine hydraulic systems.The accreditation coincides with recent investments of nearly £100,000 in the latest flushing, measurement and pressure testing equipment that is now available for short and long-term loan to industrial sites, shipyards and offshore operators.
FLUSHING AND PRESSURE TESTING
Flushing and Pressure testing can be carried out at any stage in a hydraulic system’s operating life. Normally it would be carried out as part of the initial commissioning process, but if performed as part of a scheduled overhaul, it would maximise the efficiency of the system and extend its operational life.The ISO standard for flushing and pressure testing is additional to the company's ISO9001:2000 standard it holds for its other activities. As specialists in the design and manufacture of complex hydraulic systems, KT Hydraulics has built a worldwide reputation for its work in the shipping and offshore energy industry and its engineers are currently engaged on projects across the globe. EQUIPMENT
A number of flushing rigs are available in various sizes. All utilise cascade filtration to flush down to just three microns and are supplied as stand alone rigs, with equipment, couplings and valves or, as a complete package including operator.
